Grey Gardens Ironstone Tea Pot is a lovely design by J & G Meakin, Hanley, England circa 1890. The squared-off design includes a small starburst finial that adds to the charm. Measures approximately a little over 9" with the lid, and just under 9" without the lid. The width is approximately 5 1/2 inches.
The pitcher is stamped with a J & G Meakin mark, with the Royal Arms with a lion by Eastwood works.
The vintage tea pot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or stains. If you collect vintage ironstone, you will be happy with this piece.
